We, Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Chairman of the Executive Council,
Having reviewed Emiri Decree No. (8) of 2011 concerning the regulation of issuing local legislation in the Emirate of Ajman;
And Emiri Decree No. (11) of 2011 issuing the Financial Law of the Government of Ajman and its executive regulations;
And Emiri Decree No. (3) of 2012 concerning the establishment of the Ajman Tourism Development Department;
And Emiri Decree No. (2) of 2013 concerning the regulation of hotel and tourism activities and establishments in the Emirate of Ajman, as amended by Decree No. (5) of 2014;
And based on the decision issued to transfer the powers of licensing hotel establishments in the Emirate from the Department of Municipality and Planning to be within the competencies of the Tourism Development Department in the Emirate;
And based on the recommendations submitted to us by the Chairman of the Ajman Tourism Development Department regarding the determination of fees charged by the Tourism Development Department for the services it provides to the beneficiaries of its services, and the approval of the Department of Finance of those recommendations;
And in exercise of the powers vested in us under Article (24) of the aforementioned Emiri Decree No. (11) of 2011;
And for the public interest;
We have decided to issue the following Emiri Decision:
Article (1)
Name of the Decision and its Entry into Force
This Decision shall be named "Emiri Decision No. (3) of 2014, Regarding the Service Fees of the Ajman Tourism Development Department," and shall come into force from the first day of March 2014.
Article (2)
Determination of Fees
The Ajman Tourism Development Department shall charge the fees listed in the schedule attached to this Emiri Decision in return for the services it provides to the beneficiaries of its services.
Article (3)
Repeal of Previous Legislation
Any text or provision contained in any previous legislation that contradicts or conflicts with the provisions of this Emiri Decision is hereby repealed.
Article (4)
Publication of the Emiri Decision
This Emiri Decision shall be published in the Official Gazette of the Emirate and circulated to all concerned parties to act accordingly, each within its jurisdiction.
Issued by us with our signature at our office in the Emiri Diwan in Ajman on this day, Thursday, the twenty-seventh of Rabi' al-Thani, 1435 Hijri, corresponding to the twenty-seventh of February, 2014 Gregorian.
